Women2VC — The Fellowship

The Foundational
Pipeline for the Next
Generation of Investment
Decision-Makers.

An 8-week fellowship for exceptional university women. We build the analytical foundation, institutional relationships, and deal-floor fluency that the venture capital industry lacks — and urgently needs.

"The industry will look different in ten years. We are here to make sure of it."
89%

of venture capital partners globally are men. The structural imbalance is not a values question — it is a talent sourcing failure.

8 wk

Structured immersion from fund mechanics to live investment decisions. Fellows work on real companies from week one.

20

Fellows per cohort, maximum. Selectivity is not incidental to the program — it is the program.

The Program

Not another mentorship program.
A professional formation.

The venture capital industry selects for pattern recognition — and patterns are shaped by who is in the room. Women2VC intervenes at the formation stage: before the first internship, before the first analyst role, before the market decides who belongs. We recruit from all academic disciplines because the best investment thinkers are not always the ones who studied finance.

Over eight weeks, fellows develop the analytical vocabulary of venture: how capital is structured, how decisions are made under uncertainty, how early-stage markets are assessed. Fellows graduate not with a certificate, but with a track record — a completed investment memo, a due diligence methodology, and introductions made in context, not over email.

Participants

The Fellows.
Exceptional, by design.

For Fellows

University Women — All Disciplines

The prerequisite is not a finance degree. It is the disposition to analyze rigorously, form independent views, and operate effectively under conditions of uncertainty. If that description fits you, your field of study does not disqualify you.

  • Undergraduate and graduate students across all Israeli universities
  • Engineering, law, life sciences, economics, humanities — equally considered
  • Selection based on analytical capacity and demonstrated intellectual rigor
  • Cohorts capped at 20. Early applications reviewed first.

Curriculum

Eight weeks.
From first principles to final presentation.

Week 01

The Venture Ecosystem

Fund structures, LP/GP mechanics, and how capital moves from institution to early-stage company.

Week 02

Financial Foundations

Reading financial statements, unit economics, and the operating metrics that define early-stage health.

Week 03

Deal Sourcing

Thesis-driven sourcing, market mapping, and building a proprietary view of emerging sectors.

Week 04

Due Diligence

Product analysis, team assessment, competitive positioning — the full diligence process on live companies.

Week 05

Valuation & Terms

Pre- and post-money mechanics, dilution, SAFEs, term sheets, and cap table interpretation.

Week 06

Portfolio & Operations

Post-investment governance: board dynamics, KPI frameworks, follow-on decisions, and fund reporting.

Week 07

The Investment Memo

Each fellow writes and presents a complete investment memo. Reviewed by a panel of active fund professionals.

Week 08

Placement & Network

Structured introductions to fund partners, placement support, and formal entry into the W2VC alumni network.

What Fellows Leave With

Five deliverables.
Each one concrete.

  • i.

    A Complete Investment Memo

A full investment thesis on a real company — written, stress-tested, and presented to a panel of active investors. Evidence of work, not potential.

  • ii.

    A Due Diligence Methodology

A repeatable, personal framework for evaluating markets, founders, and technology — developed through practice across multiple real companies over eight weeks.

  • iii.

    Direct Fund Partner Introductions

Structured introductions to partners at leading Israeli and international VC firms — made through the program's professional architecture, not over cold email.

  • iv.

    Access to the W2VC Network

Entry into a curated, growing network of women across the venture ecosystem — fund professionals, founders, operators, and investors at every stage.

  • v.

A Graduation Certificate & Practical Toolkit

Fellows receive a formal certificate of completion alongside a personal toolkit: a due diligence framework, an investment memo template, and a curated resource library for continued independent learning.

Questions

What to know
before you apply.

  • No. The program is designed for women across all academic disciplines. We select on analytical capacity, intellectual rigor, and genuine curiosity about investment decision-making. Many of our strongest fellows come from law, biology, and engineering.
  • Accepted fellows are expected to bring serious, consistent commitment over eight weeks. The program is designed to be a meaningful professional investment — the kind that produces a real credential, not a participation certificate.
  • Each cohort is capped at 20 fellows. Applications are evaluated on written analytical ability, evidence of rigorous thinking, and a genuine interest in capital allocation and markets. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis — earlier submissions receive priority review.
  • The program runs eight weeks with structured sessions, independent assignments, and partner-facing presentations. Fellows should expect to invest 10–15 hours per week. The schedule is designed to run alongside university coursework.
  • Women2VC works with venture capital funds who contribute a guest speaker to the curriculum and are featured as program partners. For partnership enquiries, please use the Contact form below.

Applications

For those who intend
to be in the room.

Cohort 01 is now accepting applications. Selection is rigorous. The program is demanding. We are looking for university women who approach ambiguity analytically, take positions seriously, and understand that eight weeks of genuine effort is the smallest possible investment in a decades-long career.
